The Neighborhood
There are several restaurants located near The Jungle House. A couple of options are: 1) Whaley's - This restaurant is located just a short drive from The Jungle House and offers delicious seafood dishes, including fresh local shrimp and oysters. They also have a great selection of cocktails and beer. 2) Ella and Ollie's - Another popular seafood restaurant, Ella and Ollie's is known for their fresh catch of the day and Southern-style sides. They also have a great selection of craft beer and wine. 3) The SeaCow Eatery - This family-owned restaurant serves up Southern comfort food with a twist. Their menu includes dishes like shrimp and grits, fried chicken, and homemade biscuits. 4) Pressley's at the Marina - Located right on the water, Pressley's offers stunning views along with delicious seafood and steak dishes. They also have a great selection of cocktails and beer. 5) McConkey's Jungle Shack - This casual eatery is located just down the road from 407 Jungle Rd and serves up burgers, tacos, and other beachside favorites. They also have a bar and live music on the weekends.

We loved staying in this beautiful home! The private salt water pool was a huge hit for our kids as well as the short walk to the beach. This home had space for everyone to spread out, but also featured a beautiful gathering area for meals and family fun. We had a wonderful week and would definitely stay here again!

Can’t say enough about how clean the place was, especially since dog-friendly. Often times those places can be stinky. This was great, didn’t smell chemically or doggy, everything was clean and well taken care of without feeling like I couldn’t be comfortable. Disappointed I couldn’t swim because the pool wasn’t warm enough. Loved the back screened in porch for my dog to be outside and safely contained. I had a challenge getting the gas fireplace going, but host called and walked me through the details. Neighborhood in Edisto was so wonderful and walkable to the ocean. I can’t say enough about this gem of a find and hope to be back.
